Sunday 4th September 2011. We woke up in our new home and started the day with tea and bacon sandwiches.
We met Gary and Stanley (Josh’s dad and grandad) at Josh’s old house in Coventry, to collect the stuff he’d left there over the summer and move it over to Leam in Gary’s van. After unloading, a cup of tea, and a few appliance adjustments, Gary and Stanley left, and Josh and I continued unpacking and making the place homely. By the time we set off for Josh’s parents, we’d just about unpacked everything - it feels like home!
We arrived back in Yorkshire in time for a lovely roast dinner with Josh’s parents and grandad, followed by a quiet evening, after a really busy weekend. Only 3 more days till our holiday!
