Friday 19th August 2011. Happy anniversary, Ann and Gary!
Josh’s parents arrived in London this afternoon, to spend the weekend of their anniversary with us. I met them at Bethnal Green and took them to their hotel, before making our way to Canary Wharf to meet Josh when he finished work.
We had a brief tour of Canary Wharf and then ate here, at Jamie’s Italian. We ordered five small, tapas-style starters between us, which were all absolutely delicious, followed by cockle linguini for Gary and FANTASTIC meatballs with spaghetti for the rest of us! Josh and I finished with yummy raspberry and chocolate brownies. The only downside was that Jamie Oliver wasn’t there!
