Project 365

3 notes &

362/365
Monday 26th September 2011. Today was the most intense day of work since I finished my second year, way back in June 2010. Sixteen months is a very long break from studying and I’m anticipating a real shock to the system over the coming weeks! I managed an 11-7 day of reading though, sprawled on the bed in the library, and actually really enjoyed it. It helps that I’m very excited about all my modules this year - Shakespeare and Selected Dramatists of his time, Feminist Perspectives on Literature and Media in France. They certainly make for an interesting variety of reading materials - today consisted of  some Marlowe, feminist literary criticism and an overview of the modern history of the French media.
Meanwhile Josh brought me cups of tea, chocolates, lunch and generally made himself useful, sorting out odd jobs around the flat.
Tonight we cooked a lovely carbonara together and then snuggled up for an evening of Black Books and Big Bang Theory. I hope the next 10 months see much, much more of the same!
