Friday 9th September 2011. We had another lazy morning and got the bus into Lindos at about 4pm. We meandered down the narrow, winding, cobbled roads, looked in a few shops and stopped for a drink before eventually reaching the top of the hill - only to realised we’d climbed up the wrong way and were on the opposite side of the bay to the acropolis!
After walking down and back up again on the other side, we eventually reached the ruins of the acropolis, with its stunning views out across Lindos bay and some very playful feline inhabitants!
We ate dinner in a gorgeous restaurant, overlooking the bay, with a view of the acropolis, lit up against the evening sky.
